Nnamdi Asomugha, Chairman

Nnamdi Asomugha is a defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles. Previously he played eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He is a three-time All-Pro selection and Pro-Bowl athlete. In 2010, Nnamdi received the NFL Players Association prestigious Byron “Whizzer” White Award, for his work representing his team, family and community. In June 2010, he was presented with the Jefferson Award, a national honor which recognizes public service and counts Oprah Winfrey, Gen. Colin Powell, and Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor as past recipients.

He has also been recognized for his community service by Home Depot and Essence Magazine and was awarded the prestigious Presidential Service Award, the highest honor conferred upon a civilian for public service. He has spoken nationally on the merits of volunteerism and education and was an invited guest of former President Bill Clinton at the Clinton Foundation Global Initiative University (2009, 2010). He currently serves as a national spokesperson for United Way’s “Live United” campaign and NFL Network’s “Keep Gym in School” initiative. Nnamdi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Finance at the University of California, Berkeley.

Lilian Asomugha, PD, DNM

Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha, a pharmacist and a naturopath, is the Founder and President of the Asomugha Foundation. An alumna of the University of Texas, Austin, and the College of Naturopathy at Warsaw, Indiana, her passion for helping less advantaged widows and orphans has led to her founding and co-founding non-profit organizations that support individuals in need. She is a motivational speaker and published author and devoted advocate for women and children. She owns and operates a pharmaceutical business, New Hope Pharmacy, Inc., in Southern California where she currently resides.



Chisara N. Asomugha, MD, MSPH, FAAP

Chisara N. Asomugha, MD, MSPH, FAAP is an experienced physician and Vice President of the Asomugha Foundation, Inc. She has worked globally with faith-based, community and medical organizations to develop strategic programs and policies targeting vulnerable populations. She has lectured on and is a recognized  thought leader on community health, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and gender equity. She has written for the Washington Post online and other online magazines and is driven by her passion to improve the lives of women and girls and the communities in which they live. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Duke University School of Medicine. She is also an alum of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at Yale University and a Commissioner on the US Commission to UNESCO.


Chijioke Asomugha

Mr. Asomugha is a principal investor at Cyprium Partners a leading middle-market private equity firm. Prior to joining Cyprium Mr. Asomugha worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Investment Banking division. While at Goldman, he was actively involved in the advisory and execution of cross-border acquisitions and M&A transactions. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Asomugha served as an International Development Fellow focusing on economic development and private equity in emerging markets, specifically sub-Saharan Africa. He currently serves as a Mayoral Appointee to the Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Workforce Investment Board and is a founding board member of two urban charter schools in the Cleveland-area. Mr. Asomugha received his B.A. with a double major in Economics and Public Policy from Stanford University and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where he was a Robert Toigo Fellow.


Akbar Gbaja-Biamila

Mr. Gbaja-Biamila epitomizes the new age athlete turned entrepreneur and social crusader. The 33 year old Southern California native, known as AGB by friends, parlayed a six year stint in the National Football League into a career where he can use his broadcasting and athletic skills to draw attention to cause-related platforms that will make a difference in the lives of others.

Mr.Gbaja-Biamila was featured in Mark Burnett’s reality series “Expedition Impossible” on ABC, as well as being one of the new voices on the NFL Fantasy Live Show on the NFL Network. That work, along with other speaking engagements, will assist Akbar in his real life’s work, assisting children through The Asomugha Foundation, which he has been involved since 2003.

An undrafted free agent in 2003, Gbaja-Biamila signed with the Oakland Raiders and spent two seasons with the silver and black, before moving on to spend time with both the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins before retiring in 2008. With his playing career over, Akbar turned his focus to broadcasting in addition to his philanthropic work, he served as an analyst for the CBS Sports Network and NBC Sports Network for. In 2012 became the newest member of the NFL Fantasy Live show on the NFL Network.

Frank Oti

Mr. Oti is the president of SPEC Home Realtors in Gardena, California. He holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and has a certificate of accreditation from the Graduate Realty Institute. Mr. Oti is currently the director of Inglewood Board of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He has served on the OWIN Advisory Board and displays a wealth of interest and passion in helping the underprivileged, especially in Africa.




Georgia W. Richardson

Ms. Richardson is a Broker Associate with J. Rockcliff Realtors in Oakland CA. She was previously the Broker/CEO of Richardson Real Estate Services., Inc. in Oakland, CA, a company she founded in 1995. She has been a real estate licensee since 1984. Ms. Richardson is currently a Director for the Local, State and National Association of REALTORS where she has served as Chair, Vice Chair and/or a member of several committees since 1999. She is actively involved in her church and community and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Alta Alliance Bank and Your Trusted Advisors (YTA) and a Commissioner for the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum Authority. Ms. Richardson has served on the OWIN Foundation Advisory Board and supports several local non-profit organizations. Ms. Richardson is also the majority stock holder and Chairman of the Board of Broadline Medical, Inc., a company founded by her late husband, Frederick J. Richardson, Jr.

Richard Rozman

Mr. Rozman serves as Development Director for the Asomugha Foundation. In addition to this Mr. Rozman is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors in El Segundo, California. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors Mr. Rozman spent 32 years with Merrill Lynch as a Vice President and Senior Resident Director, providing tailored financial solutions for individuals, family foundations, institutions, and charitable organizations.   

Mr. Rozman serves on and chairs several boards of non-profit organizations. Additionally, he has personally invested in the future of our youth by serving as a speaker and mentor for at-risk students, as well as providing office visits for local high schools. He has been recognized for his passionate community leadership and remains actively involved with several local and national non-profit charitable organizations. Mr. Rozman received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and currently resides in Playa del Rey. 


Roger Rodas

Mr. Rodas is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at a national financial institution in Glendale, California. Mr. Rodas has been with the firm for over 20 years providing tailored financial solutions for individuals, family foundations, businesses and charitable organizations.

Mr. Rodas earned a Bachelor Degree in Finance from California State University, Northridge. He holds a CFP® certification - a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through the Wharton School of Business. Barron’s recognized Roger in its 2012, 2011 and 2010 list of Top 1,000 Advisors.
