On Saturday, June 13, 2015 the Asomugha Foundation will join the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House in a day of community service.
Current and former Asomugha College Tour for Scholars (ACTS) students and volunteers will help by cleaning the kitchen and serving food to all of the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. After the day of service, all volunteers will be able to take a tour of the historic facility.
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House supports families of seriously ill children by creating a community of comfort and hope. Their programs include two Ronald McDonald Houses, two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms and a Ronald McDonald Camp. Families are asked to contribute $15 per night, but no one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
